Gene T. Scott, age 82 of Chesterton, IN passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.

He was born on July 3, 1938, in Lafayette, IN, to Hugh and Viola (Bice) Scott.

Gene is survived by wife, Margaret Scott; son, Timothy (Sandi) Scott; two daughters, Tracy (Wayne) Sturdivan, Rachel (Paul) Stofko; step-son, Jay Decker; two step-daughters, Pamela (Manny) Decker, Stacy (Becky) Orman; sister, Marilyn (George) Ellis; brother, Charles (Charlene) Scott; sister in-law, Isabel Scott; grandsons, Michael, Robert III, Dustin, Noah, and Randall; granddaughters, Jennifer Walker, Jennifer Scott, Amanda, Danielle, Natalie, Destani, and Chante; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brother, Richard Scott; father, Hugh Scott; and mother, Viola Scott.

Gene served in the Navy from 1955 to 1957 and served in the Army from 1959 to 1963.
